Waiting on Wednesday

I have been reading since God knows when. I practically started reading fairy tales like most kids do, but I doubt these days, say thank you for technology, kids prefer computer games rather than reading a book in a corner. Any books that you could think of, from Moby Dick, Dr. Seuss' Green Eggs and Ham to the most latest children and young adult books at this time. I am no expert on books though, I just love to read. I usually prefer fantasy/fiction with a little bit of love angles as genre. I've never outgrown the "and they live happily ever after.." theme of Disney. That's mainly the reason I'm into those. No offense to the fans of the Twilight series, but I can't dig what's so special about it. I can't bring myself to read it especially when I've watched the movies. Perhaps I have read books way more interesting and lovable compared to it. I'm thinking of reading Game of Thrones though, by friends' reviews. I'm not really into those books that so famous it looses its swag. I just don't jump into bandwagons, I'm kind of adventurous when it comes to reading. I'm usually updated to new releases, thank heavens to Goodreads. :)

Speaking of Goodreads, I'm always checking it for the publishing dates of the books I am dying to read. Here are the list of the books I would trade anything to be published as soon as possible.

Let me start of by my recent favorite: The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare. According to Goodreads, City of Heavenly Fire, the 6th and final book's publishing date would be on the 27th of May, 2014 so this would probably be an early birthday present for me. Exciting cover photo too. I highly recommend this series for those book lovers out there. Definitely a must read series. It wouldn't be my favorite for no reason. I am also thinking of reading its extended series The Bane Chronicles, but I haven't started it yet, I am caught up with an awesome list of books to read. I just wish I wouldn't regret setting it aside for a while.

Of Neptune

Talking about my frustrations in becoming a mermaid. This is Ariel's fault. Haha! Book three of the Syrena Legacy by Anna Banks is an awesome fairty tale like series. I so love this series as well. So thrilling and it will let you fall in love over and over again. My god. Galen is such a hottie. LOL. Read it. I'm a spoiler hater so I'll zip it. It's really time worthy and look how gorgeous the book cover is. Expected publication would be on the 13th of May, 2014. I'm so excited! :)

Blood Of OlympusDoesn't have a cover yet. Fail! Rick Riordan's The Heroes of Olympus' book five: The Blood of Olympus release date is on the 7th of October, 2014. I'm really dying to read this. Hooray for Uncle Rick as the King of Cliffhanger! If he has a plot to let his readers die in anticipation, I would probably be the first reader to be buried. He annoyed me really, but I still love him though. LOL! This is such a kick ass and exhilarating series. If you haven't heard about this book, perhaps you're living under a rock and I could say you're missing half of your life without exaggeration.

1I just recently finished reading Origin, which is book four of The Lux series by Jennifer Armentrout and Holy Daemon babies, I want book five entitled Opposition right about now. No book cover yet as of this writing. Arghh.. This series felt like a roller coaster ride. That intense! It's so unreal. It will take you to a different level of high. I have read some spoilers already, but it wont spoil my enthusiasm toward this masterpiece. Really, really looking forward to getting my hands on this baby. I'm missing Daemon so badly. How could that rhyme? LOL! Expected publication would be on the 5th of August, 2014. Oh. God. It's only April. Talking about prolonging the agony. Well, anyway, it will be 400 pages as I've read so I'm pretty sure it would be worth the wait. :)

CressThis is the frustrating part. Cress, book three of The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer is released 4th of February, 2014. Yes, you read it right. It was already released and I haven't read it yet. For some reason I couldn't figure, I haven't gotten this book when it was released because I didn't know it was already out there. Like I'm asking myself, "Where in the world have I been?". I just got it and I swear I'll be putting this on the top of my To-Read-First list. This series is the bomb. This is not your usual fairy tale though. The fairy tales are recreated in a manner that's mind blowing, you won't have an idea where the story will take you in every pages. Knowing me to be a fairy tale lover, this is a dream come true for me and the book cover.. Geezz. So gorgeous! I bet you know who that is and from what fairy tale she's from. Check out the first and second book before this one, you won't regret it. :)

Hmm.. I think I still have books that I'm dying to read, I just can't seem to recall them at this time but, these are my recent favorites so I'll just update you guys for more. You might want to read these series. I swear you'll love them too. Let me know! :D

Waiting on Wednesday was started by Breaking the Spine and serves to showcase those books that aren’t released yet, but that we’re eagerly awaiting!
